Whilst many are of good quality and full of great information, for most beginners it can be far too costly. I would like to share with you my most profitable internet marketing strategy to date. It has worked for me over the last few years and I'm sure it will work for you.

I mostly and always use Article Marketing. It is cost effective, profitable and the one of the easiest ways to a make money from internet marketing or affiliate marketing. Even if you have tried this method before I want to share a few secrets with you that will help your affiliate career with a big boost in profits. Firstly you need to be consist with your submissions, it is not necessary to buy software to submit your articles to several different directories. Only chose 1-3 or maybe 4 of the top article directories. For example Ezine is obviously my first choice then I would consider something like Go-articles, Ehow or Article Base. But in all honestly I tend to stick with Ezine.

Your articles should be around 250 - 400 or 500 words in length, try to make them as interesting or informative as you can. This can be quite difficult to do with the word count you have to work with. Make sure you create a different Author name for each niche or affiliate program you are trying to promote otherwise you won't be seen as a expert in your field. Ezine allows you to create a number of different author names with different bio's and profiles whilst still maintaining the master account. Your title should include the keyword or words you are trying to rank for but try to make your titles interesting too, this way you will have a better chance of having your articles read.

Your linking strategy is very important and probably more important than the actual content of your article. You should include 2 links, one to your main page with different anchor texts and the other to you a different page on your website and again with different anchor text. You are probably best to keep a excel sheet of the keywords and anchor text you have used. This way you can vary the use of keywords with each article submission. Doing this will help your own website to rank for many different keywords and phrases and it will also help your article to stay in the top rankings for a longer period of time.

Once my articles have been published I tend to copy them into a squid page or hub page and sometimes I even create free blogs with my published articles. By doing this I give my articles back links which also helps with the ranking process. I maintain 3-4 articles per day, which takes me around 2 hours from start to submission. Admittedly I do write pretty fast these days. With some practice you'll be able to do the same thing too. I don't really write my articles following a plan, generally it comes direct from my head. If you can commit to writing at least 3 articles for per day for one - two months you should have approx 5 - 10,000 unique visitors per month or more. I'm not too bothered with Web 2.0 traffic as it doesn't tend to convert too well unless you are heavily involved with the website itself. You have to remember that Web 2.0 is based on social connections, so if you want to make money from them you have to get social. I don't really have the time or patients for that, but you might prefer that method instead of article marketing. It won't cost you a cent to try this free strategy, give it a go!
