They offer lots of good information to their subscribers on an ongoing basis. They work to over deliver in every aspect of the relationship. They seek to understand the needs of their subscribers. After the relationship is built they work to provide quality products that that meet or even better, exceed subscriber needs. They never create or recommend a product that is inferior. They know that their subscribers trust them and their recommendations. If a recommended product is inferior they accept the blame. But that just does not happen, because they test everything before it is recommended. They know this is the formula for online marketing success. There are many options between these extremes. For the new marketer who wants a long online career, there is an obvious choice. Invest in relationship building. Make relationship building a task that starts even before subscribers opt-in to your list. Make relationship building as ongoing priority for every subscriber for as long as they are with you.
