This is the second of two internet marketing articles on dealing with information overload. In the first article information overload was defined and some of the causes were presented. Next methods of handling the overload we outlined. In this article additional ideas for helping your customers are revealed.

When you have conflicting ideas in a topic, present both of the ideas. Then help your customers by first identifying the one that you find the most rational. You are the expert, not some mediator of ideas. If one idea works better for you, that's the one you're going to teach your customers, right? This keeps things as simple and clear as possible for your customers. It also lets them know that yes, there is some debate on the subject.

Do the same with overlapping ideas. Make every effort to approach these complex issues from different angles in the same article. For instance, in web search, you'll find sometimes-conflicting, sometimes-congruent guidelines for writing articles. They must be usable for the reader, but attractive to the spiders - searchable. Because the requirements for humans and computers are different but not totally conflicting, it helps to examine it as a three-dimensional object. Look at all the different facets and help your customer understand each side.

internet marketing beginners are often confused about where to start, too. Again, take them by the hand and lead them, first into your site, then to the places they need to go to learn the basics. From there they can usually find their own way.

You have an opportunity here, too. In tight and competitive fields with a lot of information, beginners may freeze, unable to understand what is going on and incapable of determining a direction. You, the perfect guide, are in an ideal position to bring them to your site and teach them the things they need to know. And in the teaching, you will be able to grow and shape your own customers.

It is a rare problem online that cannot be turned into an advantage for a smart internet marketing businessperson. Remember that, if you remember nothing else.

To your internet marketing success!
