Step 1: Define Your Passion And Purpose

The only reason why I actually started going online was to generate not only income but also to have a great leverage of time. I would pound a few hours a day on my pc and then go do something else.

I'm not saying that you outsource everything you do and then create an affiliate program of your own. Learning how to sell your stuff by yourself is crucial to success and that means you really are 'standing on your own two feet'.
