Grow Your Business, Get Out Your Comfort Zone
Whatever you do in life, there are times you would feel uneasy. If you look closely, the cause of it is nothing more than the fact that you're doing something new. May be that new thing is something you are afraid to do for many reasons. It could be fear of rejection or fear of failure.

Whatever you do in life, there are times you would feel uneasy. If you look closely, the cause of it is nothing more than the fact that you're doing something new. May be that new thing is something you are afraid to do for many reasons. It could be fear of rejection or fear of failure.

Let me tell you one thing. I know how it feels. I constantly feel that until now. As a human there's a side of us that rejects almost every "adventurous" task. That's what we usually call being outside of our comfort zone.

When we know one thing that work, we tend to stay in it for as long as we could because there's little risk when we are in the zone.

The problem is, without getting out of that comfort zone, there's no way to take your business to the next level.

Suppose you have been a huge fan of organic search. You learn how it works and have decent traffic from optimizing for a bunch of long tail keywords. You know that you're on the right track to get to the first page for more competitive keywords.

Before that becomes reality, you want to grow your business by getting more customers. You already have a proven system, including great backend products. All you need is more traffic that turn into customers. Even the conversion part is awesome for your site now using organic search traffic.

You know you can drive more traffic and get them immediately by using pay per click marketing. Not only will you site be displayed in the first page for keywords that you haven't ranked yet but you can begin testing if it's worth the effort to do the optimization for those keywords.

Feeling comfortable in organic search, another side of you always find reasons to avoid starting pay per click campaigns. They could be everything from "It won't be successful. You have to learn it over from basic." to "It costs a lot to get customers through pay per click."

You know, reasons that you cannot justify, but still reasons to keep you away from testing new marketing method. You know your numbers well and you could do very well with a bit of testing but you delay it for another month.

If it sounds familiar, I have a simple tip for you to get through it.

The key is to find a support structure that will help you realize the new marketing method. If you plan on doing pay per click, buy e-books or attend teleseminars within that topic. Build confidence quickly and start doing.

If you can get a few people that can support you, that's better. Often I find that getting outside of the comfort zone is just as easy as to will myself into doing it no matter what the reason is.

It works for me so far and I keep in mind whenever I feel uneasy about doing one thing or another, I'll find external support and do the ritual of "forcing" myself into it. Somehow after some time I end up feeling very motivated and energized. I guess that's because I feel good about doing something that I was uneasy to do at first.
