| Ecourse Training - You Wont Always Make Money With the Perfect Ecourse |
|
The Perfect Ecourse doesn't exist! If you're thinking of creating the perfect Ecourse before others see it, you'll be leaving money one the table. To make money, people have to see your Ecourse. If you don't send it out before it's "perfect", you may never send it out, which means it won't bring you any money.
I love talking with new people who are eager to get their ecourse going. They soak in all the info and just go for it! BUT, just before they're ready to launch, something happens. They start to question everything. "Maybe I should change the format." "Maybe I should make the ecourse longer/shorter." "I need to recheck all the spelling and grammar." Let me tell you this about Ecourses, there is NO PERFECT ECOURSE! If one looks hard enought, they will find some sort of flaw in ANY Ecourse they subscribe to. If you're a perfectionist, learn to let a few things slide at the beginning. Remember your goal, to create subscribers. Creating subscribers is the cornerstone of your business. Get the customers in your door and then let the store do the work, let the products sell themselves. After you get the subscribers/customers, then you can always go back and "edit" or tweak your Ecourse to get it just right to your standards. But, if you're wanting to get it just perfect before you let others see it, you're wasting time. You need to just get the Ecourse out to the public. Having no one see the Ecourse will NEVER make you any money. Here's a tip, having others that ARE INTERESTED in your topic give you feedback (if you're not asking for input, you're missing something) is a GREAT way to help tweak your Ecourse. Just because you think something should be changed or updated doesn't mean your subscribers feel this way. If you're using an autoresponder for your Ecourse (which you should be), you can always create a follow up email after the completed ecourse asking for some sort of input. After all, your subscribers are the ones that are interested in your topic, ask them stuff. You've already got their attention, utilize it for your business advantage. You may be surprised what you find out. |
