Easy Way to Find the Right Niche

Time and time again I see people asking, how do I find the right niche to promote? Many markets are impossible to dominate so people look to niches in order to become profitable. In affiliate marketing it is vital to get into a niche in order to be successful. Here is how to find the right niche.

1. Brainstorm

I'm sure you have done this before. Just think of things you are interested in. Think of some of your hobbies. I would do this and write down what you come up with. Now, write down sub categories of each of these things. For instance, if you chose watches then maybe a sub topic would be luxury watches. Maybe under luxury watches you would choose Rolex watches.

2. Check out the competition

Do a quick keyword research using Google's keyword tool. Type in your keyword from your sub topic, whatever it may be, and see how many results come up. If more than 100 results come up then you should be good to go. Now, you need to go over to Google.com and type your keyword in " ". So, if your keyword is Rolex luxury watch, then type in "luxury Rolex watch" into Google.

Now, check out the results. If there are under 15,000 pages then you should be in good shape.

This is a very quick way to see if a niche can be profitable. The more often you do this the better you will be at it and the easier you will be able to spot a profitable niche.
