Heard all about the get-rich schemes? Been to the sites where they promise to make you more money in a week than you would in a year? Well, I've been there too and while I wouldn't dismiss them completely, surely life isn't ever that easy.
Heard all about the get-rich schemes? Been to the sites where they promise to make you more money in a week than you would in a year? Well, I've been there too and while I wouldn't dismiss them completely, surely life isn't ever that easy. Last year, I was shown a system that was guaranteed to make me money at online roulette. And for a short time, it did make me cash and I was living in the dream but sadly, but in hindsight, not unexpectedly, I lost any money I made. Instead of holidaying in Barbados, I was in Bognor Regis and instead of sipping cocktails, it was ice-cream and sandcastles all round. But that brush with wealth and fortune was a nice reminder that you get what you put into life. And the same emphasis can be put on internet marketing. I was introduced to the concept recently. Talk about a walk into the unknown, in fact I was completely blinded by the huge amount of information out there. I still come out in a cold sweat when I think about it. But instead of trying to absorb everything you read about it, I decided to focus on something I felt comfortable with. Become adept at that, learn the tricks of the trade and then once you have mastered that, try other avenues. As a freelance journalist, who enjoys writing, I'm currently focusing on writing articles, updating my blog and focusing on putting myself out there without spending anything, other than time and effort. Perhaps, when starting out, it's important to structure your days and weeks - and set yourself achievable targets. I'm going to write three or four articles a week, update my blog and see how much traffic then comes my way. It's important not to expect instant rewards, if you think like that you will be suicidal after the first month. Don't get bogged down by information overload and stay focused and be patient.
