More and more people are starting home based businesses thanks to the phenomenal growth of the Internet and concerns about the current economy and the fear of being laid off. Network marketing from home is one of those rapidly growing home based businesses and owning a home business is a dream for many workers these days. Consider this; 75,000 new people subscribe to the Internet...daily. 100,000 new web sites are built...daily. 125,000 people start a home-based business... weekly. 33% of all new millionaires achieve it through a home-based business. What those statistics don't tell is that there is a 97% failure rate with internet based businesses. We have read the many stories of why people don't make it. The network marketing business has the same components of a marketing plan as any other business. You must come up with a good product or service, and then convince the customers that they need what you're selling. You also need to identify your target customer base, as well as find out who your competition is and where you can fill a need they aren't meeting. As people start a business on the web, they normally use or "piggyback" on another's capture or splash page. In other words, when you are piggybacking with someone and you drive a prospect to that page, even though using your link, you are not creating any credibility with your prospect. This is fine in the beginning, but once an individual becomes acclimated to their online business and the web, they should consider what is referred to as "branding" themselves. Once and internet marketer decides to brand themselves, they have to decide what design and content they want on their page(s). This can come from their idea, or pre-designed template, or a design created by a company that specializes in that field. Each type has a different cost associated with it. The internet marketer has the ability where they can start out with a basic design and upgrade as their business grows. The internet marketer receives many benefits by branding themselves. The first and foremost is that they gain instant recognition and credibility on he web and they don't have to spend the money on development software and the hundreds of hours it takes to learn codes and formats.
