You can start an online business, in fact, anyone can. And if you are short on money you can start free or with as little as $20. It will require effort and work on your part, but that's a small price to pay for a business online

1. One of the best ways to start an online business is with affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketers get a percentage of the product they sell sometimes up to 50% or more. There are all kinds of products to choose from, however, it's best to choose a product you're knowledgeable on so you can promote it easier. It's hard to sell something you know anything about.

You will need a website or blog to begin. You can do this one of two ways you can get a free Blogger blog or you can use Wordpress. If you do this you will need to buy your own domain and web hosting for $20 or less. Wordpress is best, but if you can't afford it then by all means go with the free method.

2. Then there's the Multi-Level Marketing also called MLM. Independent, unsalaried salespeople of multi-level marketing, referred to as distributors represent a parent company and are paid a commission based upon the volume of product sold through each of their independent businesses or organizations.

There can be multiple levels of people receiving royalties from one person's sales. You sign up under other people and this is how you get started. You have to be careful with this method and do your research.

3. The third way to make money is by blogging. Many people think a blog is nothing more than a journal; however, it's now a proven method of making money online. You can monetize your blog with Google ads and many other forms of advertising. Additionally, you can combine blogging with affiliate marketing as they compliment each other.
